I currently work with my students in two projects that are related to LIGO instrumentation.

These are 1) work performed mainly by doctoral student Karla Ramirez, her photo on the top right, who is working assessing creep noise at silica fiber bondings. Moises Castillo, photo on the right below Karla’s, is an MS in Physics student  also works assessing noise in materials

2) work by Guillermo Valdes (picture on the right at the bottom) on using machine learning techniques to assess noise in detector characterization.
